Usain Bolt left very few questions about whether or not he’s ready to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games. From his condition today, he is definitely practicing and training for that event in 2016. This event was previously planned to take place earlier, but it appears that there was much more planning and/or media promotional attention that many media outlets around the world wanted to embrace as well.

 

The weather in Rio today was amazing, and it assisted in the city putting off an amazing event.

Usain Bolt started his season by winning a 150-meter race on a track set up at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.

Bolt cruised to victory in 14.42 seconds, falling short of the world-best mark of 14.35 he set on the streets of Manchester in 2009. Antigua and Barbuda’s Daniel Bailey was second, ahead of Bruno Lins of Brazil and Ecuador’s Alex Quinones.
